Dr. John C. Kerecz is an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at Columbia University Medical Center. He also maintains a private practice at 84 Clinton Ave, Dobbs Ferry. (across from the Masters School) He is an expert in the treatment of dental malocclusions. He employs the latest technology and orthodontic techniques including full banded therapy, appropriate early orthodontic intervention, appropriate involvement in complicated orthognathic surgery cases and, of course, Invisalgn therapy. Personal and Family History

Dr. Kerecz was scholar-athlete within Connecticut high school football (1965-1967) and was a starting varsity offensive lineman for several nationally ranked Division 1 Yale University football teams(1969-1971) under legendary coach Carmen Cozza. He receieved his DDS from Columbia University in 1976 and his post-doctoral orthodontic degree in 1977 completing the usual combined seven year program in five years. He is presently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontists,American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and the NY Ninth District Dental Society.
His wife Christine is a practicing real estate attorney and a graduate of Fordham University and the Fordham Law School. Son Charles is a graduate of NYU Stern School of Business and a former NYU golf captain and academic All-_America. He presently works as an Investment Banker and his daughter Joan is a first year law student at Duke Law School.

Location

The office is located across from the Masters School at 84 Clinton Ave. Traveling north on Broadway turn right onto Clinton and the practice is around the first bend across from the school. Traveling south turn left onto Clinton.
